I tried the lab one day later on another computer, after I failed to do the hands-lab because I couldn't SSH to the VM. It worked for me today.

Bad experience with this lab. I couldn't finish it because it took forever to SSH to the VM. I got the following message: Please consider adding the IAP-secured Tunnel User IAM role (iap.tunnelInstances.accessViaIAP) to start using Cloud IAP for TCP forwarding for better performance.
